Executive Producer w/Rebelmate

2018 - 2021

Executive Producer | Director | Concept Developer

Forming an alliance with the rising Mexican band Rebelmate. With them, Mau Aleman created three music videos. Being responsible for the band's early visual aesthetic in the videos for "Es Así" (2018), "Necessity" (2019), and "Losing Control" (2021).

After taking part in the 2019 Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF). Mau Aleman furthers his knowledge and abilities by participating in Tenoch Huerta's "Directing for Actors" Master Class. Huerta is a well-known actor who has appeared in films like Black Panther Wakanda Forever (2022), The Forever Purge (2021), and the critically acclaimed television series Narcos: Mexico (2018).

Guanajuato's International Film Festival

By participating in the "Production Design" Master Class taught by Barbara Enriquez, who is recognized for her work as a set designer in Roma (2018), Resident Evil: Extinction (2007), and "The Most Wanted" (2014), Mau Aleman furthers his expertise in professional filmmaking and production.

Mau Aleman's work focuses on bringing Mexico's magic into a worldwide view, having the opportunity to collaborate with different Film Festivals around his country, his vision continues to reach all types of audiences. “There's an unusual surrealism always present in the air, that's what my country taught me. I'm lucky to portray it in everything I work on, it's what drives my art”.
